Very busy dated campground

Space is fine, supermarkets can be reached in a few minutes on foot, unfortunately nothing is going on in town. The sanitary facilities are clean but getting on in years could use a little overhaul. Unfortunately, the motorway and larger roads are in the immediate vicinity, which were also noisy in the evening, but it was possible for one night. The gray water disposal could be a little more accessible and changed as we only had a smaller motorhome, but it could be difficult for larger ones.

All in all, the space is not bad, but the sanitary building is a bit old and too small for the size of the space. Supermarket and some restaurants within walking distance, staff is friendly and helpful.

Space is okay .. nothing special .. only has 1 sanitary facility which may be. is very far away. Clean and okay. Electricity is not billed at a flat rate and when you check out you have to wait for the groundskeeper to read the electricity. I used 4kw for 1 night and paid 3.40EUR. One would rather pay a flat rate of 3.50 p.N for those passing through. Across the street is an EDEKA where you can get everything. NO CREDIT CARD PAYMENT IN CORONA HOURS IS A NO GO! Maestro only.

Great campsite for a transit, could choose a spot for themselves. People around us were also very friendly and responsive! Toilet block is very large, smelled like it, did not take a shower myself - can't say anything about this either. Near the reception are the containers that were packed and waste water could be piled, this makes that I personally found the campsite less good. It does have a beautiful view of the Moselle, you can have a bite to eat and drink and you can quickly walk into the center, cycle.

The location is great, but the organization is a disaster. There are far too few power boxes. It is connected by the staff. The problem is that this is exactly what is unfriendly and unreliable. In addition, the street noise is not to be despised. The place is definitely not worth the money.

Showers and Toilets are getting old but okay. The choice of parking space / allocation is a bit confused. Großer Edeka can be reached in 2 minutes by bike through the tunnel of the expressway (campsite is right next to it), eat very well in the restaurant. Bread roll cart as advertised was not seen🤷‍♀️. All in all, my verdict 'good'

Unfortunately, despite reservation, we weren't allowed to experience the place. Despite phoning twice, we were turned away after a long drive. They are fully booked. Thank you too! Gladly not again!

Very unfriendly and lying man read us to get there with the cry that we get a place on the water because I pointed it out and then how to put us in the Euserste corner and far away from the water there are no more plstz free I said I asked specifically And man said yes there. Perfect for passing through, I wouldn't recommend it for a long time. Freely selectable parking space, huge meadow, so always enough space. As a result, however, it is also quite unstructured. The neighbors sat 5cm from our vehicle at breakfast. The sanitary facilities are clean.

Spacious space directly on the Moselle. Registration in the nearby restaurant. Everyone can stand wherever they want. A large area is occupied by permanent campers. Lots of shade trees. The sanitary building is at the far corner. Depending on where you stand, a bike is recommended. The sanitary facilities are older and should be cleaned more often. The number of showers is limited due to the corona. The place is near the village. Shops, restaurants and outdoor swimming pool in the immediate vicinity. However, the square is surrounded by thoroughfares on 3 sides and the motorway runs on the opposite side. This means that there is a permanent noise level. The site is ideally located on the Moselle cycle path. A good starting point for excursions and sightseeing.

We were there for a long weekend and were not impressed by the various bad experiences at first. I was surprised by the telephone statement two weeks earlier that "there is always something free". So on the way .... The square is located directly on the Moselle, between the Moselle and the square are the bike path or a street and the ferry house with restaurant. There is direct access to the marina. The front rows facing the Moselle are for permanent campers. You are not assigned a place, there are large areas without parcels under trees. 2 rows are intended for day guests with a mobile home, the rest is for guests staying longer who can pose as they want. You are informed that you should put the power cable over the junction box, an employee comes to connect the cable. Billing according to KWh (flat rate for day guests with mobile homes). There is a power box per row - but if you stand too far away, the cable cannot be enough (we had 40 meters with us, at first 2 meters was too short) and you have to change places. One stands on the meadow partly under trees. Water taps are easily accessible from every place, depending on the place, the sanitary building is very far away, but only there you can dispose of for caravans (mobile home disposal is at the ferry house). The sanitary building is in urgent need of renovation. I didn't feel comfortable there. On arrival we weren't treated very friendly, but it wasn't rude either. On departure the atmosphere was very friendly, the garbage cans overflowing. The playground cannot be described as such, rather a ruin ..... When checking out a lady in front of me complained about the condition of the playground as "dangerous" for children. Conclusion: OK for a transit or a long weekend WITHOUT children, but I wouldn't want to stay there longer.

Totally hidden and unkempt place. Showers and toilets, dirt as far as the eye can see. Must have been there for years, especially upstairs at the windows ...... Despite the coronavirus, the place is totally full and it is only cleaned once in the evening. We couldn't get into the swimming pool because it was already fully booked. Playground neglected and ailing. There was also no key for the barrier. Answer, nobody is there anymore. Well, we'll never be back, that's for sure

The place is in a great location. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience is awful. NEVER lie here if you have a schedule. We spent 1.5 hours checking out. Only a person who has the opportunity to unlock the cabinet with electricity. As they then calculate the consumption. In addition, it is only divided by a few places with power cabinets and here you have to quickly cover yourself on laaaaaang splice wire. Sanitary is cruel, not sure if I was cleaner or dirtier after I finished the shower. I will not even describe the toilets as it does not fit properly in print. You are smoothly ignored in the restaurant, where also the reception is, what is the reception and what is the resturant is not good to say. But the service is completely gone. They are generally poor in English. Hard to make yourself understood.

Only a wash house with rather poor equipment, cold / hot water does not work, shady campsites, friendly staff, the barrier keys are not enough for everyone in the high season, max. 2 stars, we cannot recommend the place

If I could, the campsite would not get a star from me, very unfriendly, very loud expressway in the back and in front and also to strengthen the highway. Were this long weekend there they had no toilet or shower facilities open but full price I found was outrageous. And I found the safety distance from Corona to be very worrying, so we left earlier, the main thing was to fill up places and make coal. So for us once and never again there are more beautiful and grateful campsites on the Moselle.

Awful camping, awful service, awful clients, awful restaurant. Lots of noise from road. Only cash... My worst camping experience to date

Ok, it's a no thrills camp site but good to have a nice town on doorstep. A lot of road noise from bridge over river. don't bother wasting any euros ordering the coffee, its dish water, stick to the beer or even better there's a bar just down river(5mins bike 20mins walk). Site warden nice chap.

Good Food , Good Beer , Good service . You can al so recharge your battery of your bike .
